What information we collect, and why
This website itself does not ask you for any personal information. There are no forms, no accounts and no sign-ups.
When you phone, text or email us to ask about a job, we receive whatever you choose to give us — usually your name, your phone number, and details of the problem (for example your address, so we can come out). We use this information only to reply to you and to carry out the work you've asked about. Nothing else.
Cookies
This site does not use any tracking or advertising cookies. It only uses anything strictly necessary to make the site work — and at the moment, that is nothing at all: the site sets no cookies.
If we ever add something like visitor analytics in the future, we will show a cookie-consent banner and ask you first.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information, and we don't share it for marketing. The only people who handle it are essential providers we need to run things — for example the company that hosts this website, and our phone provider. Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as visitor IP addresses) for security.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any job that follows. Basic job and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires for business and tax records, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the right to ask us:
- what information we hold about you (a copy is free);
- to correct anything that's wrong;
- to delete your information.
Just contact us using the details at the top of this page and we'll sort it. If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
